Not all MBA Programs Work the Same. The VCU Executive MBA Program uniquely prepares you with the real-world experiences and practical skills you'll need to accelerate your career. But don't take our word for it — let your fellow students tell you in their own words.
You have worked for several years to develop your professional resume and now you are ready for the next step. The VCU Executive MBA program will provide you with the necessary skills to complement your work experience and jumpstart your career. The dynamic curriculum continually evolves to remain relevant and keep our students challenged and engaged. In addition, our program is designed with flexibility and balance in mind – the flexibility you require to balance your professional and personal responsibilities, as well as the appropriate rigor that you expect from a graduate degree program. The VCU Executive MBA provides an opportunity for you to join a network of professional colleagues and capitalize on a rigorous and innovative curriculum and expert faculty.
Designed for working professionals with at least 5 years of work experience, the VCU Executive MBA is an intensive, 20 month program with classes scheduled every other Friday and Saturday. Core program components and differentiators include its integrated structure, experiential exercises, and real world application, which enable students to transition easily between the business world and their studies. The program's innovative, integrated modular structure enables students to approach issues by module topic, which accurately reflects the multi-disciplinary demands of the real business world.
The VCU Executive MBA offers all the rigor of a full-time MBA program. You will earn the same degree offered by VCU’s traditional evening MBA program. All VCU MBA programs are accredited by AACSB International, the premier accrediting agency. Being AACSB-accredited means a business school is able to continuously pass a strict set of standards that ensure quality. Less than 5% of the more than 13,000 business schools in the world have earned AACSB accreditation. Learn more about the importance of AACSB accreditation to your Executive MBA degree.
The VCU EMBA is ranked Tier One by CEO Magazine's 2016 Global MBA Rankings. The rankings' objective is "to identify schools which marry exceptional quality with great ROI."
