The VCU Executive MBA delivers a real-world integrated experience that goes above and beyond the typical MBA.
This hybrid program follows an alternating weekend schedule. On the first class weekend of each month, students attend class in person on Friday and Saturday. Two weeks later, on the second class weekend of each month, synchronous online classes are on Saturday only.

How to Apply
To apply, submit the VCU Graduate Application with all required supplemental materials, including:
A $70 non-refundable application fee
Application for Virginia in-state tuition (if applicable)
Transcripts for each college/university attended.
A statement of intent
A current resume
Two letters of recommendation
International applicants shall submit one of the following to meet the English proficiency requirement:
TOEFL score of 100
IELTS score of 6.5
Duolingo score of 120
Pearson Test of English score of 65

Statement of Intent
All master’s and post-baccalaureate graduate certificate programs require a statement of intent. We recommend a statement between one-two pages long, describing your accomplishments, goals and reasons for applying.
Transcripts
Include transcripts from each institution you attended. Unofficial transcripts may be uploaded with your online application; however, official transcripts will be required if you are admitted. Official transcripts are defined as those sent directly from the institution or via a selected electronic service (i.e., Parchment) to VCU.
Recommendations
Two letters of recommendations are required. The online application will request an email address for each recommender. VCU will contact them on your behalf.
Test scores
We do not require a GMAT or GRE score.

The program emphasizes collaborative learning. Each semester, cross-functional student teams complete real consulting projects that culminate in the capstone strategic dilemma project. Near the end of your first year, you’ll embark on an international business trip to gain a first-hand understanding of international business practices.
