Scholarship and Grant Information
Thanks to the generosity of alumni, individual donors and industry partners, the VCU School of Business Foundation is able to offer funding for undergraduate business scholarships and grants. Current-Student Scholarships
The School of Business scholarship application is currently closed. Applications for the 2027-28 academic year will open in January 2027.
To qualify for a School of Business scholarship, you must be a degree-seeking student currently enrolled in a business major. Most scholarship awards are based on academic merit. However, some scholarships also consider leadership, service and community involvement.
Award funds will be applied directly toward each recipient’s tuition bill for the following academic year.

Grant Opportunities

Established by the Foundation's trustees, this program invests in VCU Business faculty, staff and student-led initiatives that align with the school's strategic plan and strengthen the VCU Business community.

Incoming Freshman Scholarships
All freshman applicants are automatically considered for university-level scholarships and School of Business scholarships if they apply for the fall semester by Nov. 1 — no separate application is required.
Students who apply by Nov. 1 will be notified by early April of any scholarship offers. Recipients are selected based on academic merit. Leadership, service and community involvement also may be considered.
