Research Summary:

In March 2020, the packaged foods industry took steps to deal with the dramatic supply and demand disruption created by COVID-19. This study indicates that changes to the planning process were more beneficial to business continuity than changes in reconfiguring resources. Since the results of this research apply to many different firms, such insights may prove helpful as global supply chain uncertainty persists.
