Accounting Advisory Council
The council advises, counsels and assists the Department of Accounting in maintaining and improving the department’s programs, the quality of its students, the success of its graduates and the overall standing and reputation of the department.
The council also helps the department develop community partnerships among faculty, students and accounting professionals that promote diversity, equity and inclusion and benefit both the department and the Richmond community.
Junior Accounting Advisory Council
The junior council fosters connections and provides support to current students and recent graduates of the accounting programs at VCU, serving as a bridge between accounting students, alumni and the university. The junior council shall promote professional development and networking opportunities within the VCU accounting community.
Membership
Membership to the Accounting Advisory Council is by invitation only of the current council. Membership to the Junior Accounting Advisory Council is by application. The junior council reviews applications on an ad hoc basis and at least quarterly.
