Our faculty includes award winning teachers and internationally recognized researchers in the areas of organizational behavior, human resource management, strategy, entrepreneurship, and organizational research methods. Our programs prepare students for successful business careers by providing a broad base of knowledge in areas including leadership, teams, human resources, business strategy, entrepreneurship, small business management and global business. The department houses the largest undergraduate major in the School of Business, with tracks in Business Administration, Entrepreneurship and Small Business Management, International Management, and Human Resource Management. We offer extensive graduate programs and a highly selective Ph.D. in Management with a concentration in Organizational Behavior. The Ph.D. in Business with a concentration in Management is a full-time program designed to prepare students for careers in research and teaching. The small size of the program provides students an opportunity to work with world-renowned faculty on individualized research projects. Our faculty publish in premier outlets such as Academy of Management Journal, Academy of Management Review, Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Applied Psychology, Journal of Business Venturing, Journal of Management, Personnel Psychology, Strategic Entrepreneurship Journal, and Strategic Management Journal, among others, and are active at the leading conferences in the field (Academy of Management, Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology, Southern Management Association).
