FAQ

Graduates, guests, and event staff must adhere to all VCU safety guidelines for large gatherings in place on May 14.
The VCU university-wide commencement will be held on Saturday May 14 from 10 a.m.-12:00 p.m. More information about the university-wide ceremony is available via this website.

The main difference between the university-wide commencement ceremony and the School of Business Ceremony is that graduates are individually recognized and invited to walk across the stage at the School of Business Ceremony. Graduates do not walk across the stage at the university-wide ceremony.
The ceremony is estimated to last around 90 minutes.

Regalia will not be required for the School of Business Commencement. Graduates that do not wish to wear regalia are expected to dress in business attire. Regalia may be purchased at Barnes & Noble @ VCU (1111 W. Broad St.) or online here.

Seating is on a first-come, first-served basis. We are not limiting the number of guests graduates may invite.
