  • The curriculum

    VCU's EMSIS program, designed by and for IT leaders in the Richmond area, combines an aggressive — yet immensely and immediately practical — academic curriculum, including:

    • Monthly group sessions with certified leadership coaches
    • One-on-one mentoring relationship with a local IT executive
    • A one-week international business trip near the end of the program
    • Access to free graduate professional development services
    • Experiential learning projects with local and international firms

    The EMSIS faculty consists of both VCU tenured professors and industry experts from the local business community. Their expertise ranges from areas such as enterprise architecture, security, IT infrastructure, ERP, digital economy and more.

Class schedule

Fridays 12:30-6:15 p.m. | Saturdays 8 a.m-3:30 p.m.

You'll attend class every other Friday and Saturday, and a one-week international business trip is slated near the end of the program. Summer and winter breaks are included.
