BSA is an esteemed service organization dedicated to the mission and values of the School of Business. Our primary purpose is educating prospective students and their families about opportunities in the VCU School of Business through tours, open houses, and preview days. In addition, we volunteer to support the vision of the School of Business at various internal and external events. As dedicated students, we pride ourselves as being the "face of the business school.” We have a variety of virtual recruitment events leading up to September 30 - please join us!

Admission into Business Student Ambassadors is a selective process that requires you to submit an application and complete an individual and group interview. We accept new members each fall semester. Please note: all BSA’s are required to be enrolled in VCU’s School of Business, maintain a cumulative GPA of 2.5 or above, and must be graduating December 2021 or later.

Please submit your completed application by September 30, 2020 at 5:00pm.
Application Procedure
  1. Please note that you must be currently enrolled in the VCU School of Business in order to apply for the position of Business Student Ambassador. You must not be graduating in the spring, summer, or fall of the upcoming year. Ambassadors must also have a cumulative 2.5 GPA. If this is your first semester at VCU, your GPA will be evaluated at the close of this semester.
  2. Applications must be submitted by September 30, 2020 at 5:00pm EST.
  3. In addition to your application form you must secure two recommendations. Recommenders can include, but is not limited to, School of Business or VCU faculty/staff, high school teachers, supervisors at work, etc. Recommenders cannot be family members or friends. You will be required to list the names and email addresses of your two recommenders when you complete your application. Recommendations must be submitted by October 7, 2020 at 5:00pm EST. Please make sure you have an accurate email address for your recommenders. Applications without two recommendations will not be considered. 
  4. The final step is to upload your resume. Please have your resume ready because you will not be able to submit your application without your resume uploaded.
