If you hold a bachelor's degree and are interested in changing careers or gaining expertise in accounting or information systems, then a post-baccalaureate certificate may be the program for you.
As a certificate student, you'll take classes with undergraduate students in the business bachelor's degree program. Most classes are taught in Snead Hall by our renowned business faculty. You can attend on a full or part-time basis. Classes are taught primarily in the day but some may be offered at night or online.
Enjoy all the benefits of being a VCU Business student including career fairs and networking, outstanding libraries and study space, the opportunity to join a student organization related to your major, free admission to basketball games at the Siegel Center, access to the Cary Street gym and more.
Applicants for the certificate must have completed a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 2.5, but this does not guarantee admission.Applicants must submit official transcripts (bearing the University seal), which shows the University granted the bachelor’s degree and the student’s cumulative grade point average.
Candidates for the certificate are required to complete a minimum of 24-30 hours (depending on program) beyond the bachelor’s degree, with a minimum of 24 credit hours of study to be taken while in the Undergraduate Certificate program at VCU.
